Factors Forming Student Character: Learning Development Models In Schools

Abstract:

This research aims to determine the primary factor of character high school students. The formation of character as a behavior developed from the theory of constructivism, and the theory of social learning Bandura. The research method is a survey with a correlational approach. The population research is 432 High School students with 115 samples of data analyzed. Hypothesis test with regression Liliefors, normality test, linearity test and significance of the regression coefficient and correlation with ANAVA then conducted path analysis. The results showed the direct and positive influence of the learning environment variable on self-concept, Direct and positive impact of self-concept variable to learning attitude, The direct and positive effect of attitude variable on the character. The indirect and positive influence of the learning environment on the character through self-concept and attitude with the total weight and the learning environment has a positive indirect effect on the attitude through self-concept. The character is formed effectively by instilling self-concept students through the learning environment to create the right attitude in learning.
