Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to analyze the particularities of the quality of the health system in Romania, from the perspective of the perception of employees in the healthcare system. An online questionnaire was used to collect data from 292 employees in the Romanian health system. The main results show which are the factors that influence the quality of the medical services in Romania, which are the difficulties that healthcare organizations are faced with and which are the potential ways of improving the quality of the Romanian health system. The findings illustrate that this study can have theoretical contributions by strengthening the results obtained through other studies in the field, as well as a series of practical contributions because these results can help the decision makers in the health system to improve the quality of the medical services and implicitly that of the healthcare system.
