Abstract:

The article offers an analysis and an assessment of the factors that generated the zoning of the cultivation of the hybrids in the Bărăgan Plain in Brăila County. In order to accomplish this paper, we analysed and subsequently interpreted surfaces, climatic data, statistical data, data from the specialized literature for the respective area. The management of the agricultural production process is an extremely complex activity, comprising a set of productive activities in the field of plant cultivation supported by natural resources, in which the variety or the hybrid, the earth are essential elements and together with the material resources, both human and financial, are aimed at obtaining agri-food products and products for different industrializations at a determined level of economic efficiency. Seed production in large-scale farms has become essential for the agricultural sector to ensure the supply of high biological seed to help increase yields without increasing the other resources. The article proposes a SWOT analysis of the factors that determined the concentration of the sampling in the southern region of the country, in the Bărăgan plain, in Brăila County, as well as an analysis of the factors that determined the agricultural producers to specialize in this production segment. The results obtained are useful for the agricultural sector and for the business environment.
