Factors of Occupational Satisfaction and Reduction in the Work Motivation of Employees in a Quality Control Laboratory

Abstract:

The basic subject matter of the paper is the examination of the influence of certain individual factors that exert influence on job satisfaction and the factors that have an influence on reduction in work motivation through cabinet and field research. The factors that influence job satisfaction, using 10 indicators, and the factors that influence employees’ reduced motivation in their work, using 11 indicators, made up the independent variable. Besides, personal and status characteristics of the respondents (i.e. the sex, the years of age, the years of service and the education level) were used as the independent variables in the paper. The descriptive Survey Research method was used as the basic research method. Apart from determining the basic statistical parameters, correlation analysis and the Chi-square test were used in the paper for the purpose of determining the connectedness between the indicators of the independent variable and between the indicators of the independent and dependent variables. The examination was performed on an intentional sample of 20 respondents.
