Abstract:
Global contradictions and world economic crises heighten social inequality and population’s distrust towards the existing authorities. Fascist ideology and technologies are used as means and tools for overcoming crisis situations. The purpose of the research is to study and analyse the factors and conditions for the rise of fascism in modern society. The authors have found that fascism has numerous country variations. Fascist trends are extremely active not only across the world, but also within individual civilizations. At the same time, the ideological connection between fascism and liberalism was detected. The new anti-fascist movement must not only combat fascism itself but also end the conditions that lead to the rise of fascism.
