Fast Reengineering for Distribution Logistic Processes in Small Companies in Kazakhstan based on Graphical and System Dynamic Model

Abstract:

Studying the Kazakhstani experience of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in the distribution logistics of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), the authors of the article analyzed the existing processes for the distribution of goods and made suggestions for their fast reengineering based on graphic model and system dynamic model approach using information technologies (IT). This approach of fast reengineering of business processes improves the quality of logistics processes, their reliability and efficiency, reduces the company's labor costs and shortens the cycle time of the process in question, and the use of system-dynamic modeling allows the initial determination of key indicators that require adjustments and provide impact on the whole process. The methods used were expert interviews, content analysis of recent publications, system dynamic modelling, graphic modelling.
