Abstract:

While searching for a definition, for the base significance of the simplest notions we always discover the contradictions of knowledge. Practice demonstrates that any notion definition provokes great problems, such a thing happens with the overwhelming “financial instrument”. In this article, we shall highlight definitions and classifications regarding key terms and at the end we shall state our opinion regarding them. The research methodology consists in the study of speciality literature in the financial instruments field and the execution of some comparisons between the financial instrument and value titles (or movable values). In the present, the financial instruments are popular in all medias, the economical reality giving them new and unexpected valences.
