Abstract:

The contribution considers the essential characteristics of financial security in relation to the macro, micro and industry level (for the chemical industry), the main factors that hinder the development of the industry and its entities (technological backwardness of a number of sectors, limited access of Russian products to foreign markets, fierce competition, inconsistency of the level of development of transport infrastructure with export conditions of chemical products, etc.) and have a negative impact on the provision of economic and financial security of organizations. The authors pay particular attention to the characteristics of threats to economic and financial security in relation to organizations of the chemical industry, as well as a system of indicators (including threshold values) to assess their level of financial security.
