Abstract:

Imigration is a very prevalent topic currently, especially in the context of the recent immigration crisis, which has influenced a lot of the Europion Union countries. To predict the demographic factors important from the economic development point of view, different methods are used -  statistical, mathematical and expert appraisals. The purpose of this article is to create a forecast of the Slovak Republic immigration evolution in the following three years. To create an effective forecast, the authors have used artificial intelligence – neural networks.
