Forecasting Sales Budgets Using Time Series Model

Abstract:

During these unpredicted times (pandemic period, wars, inflation, shortages, high costs)  we are all facing and trying to predict figures. It gets harder and harder to forcast the future of the business due to the unpredictability in which we are currently live. From this  point of view we can use statistical instruments, methods that can help us to forecast better the future.

This paper aim to present the time series model that can help organisations to predict their numbers  in case of unforeseen external factors but also is allowing managers to take better decisions for the future of the company. The data analysed in this paper is focusing on forecasting the sales budgets only, starting with the historical data.
