Abstract:

The presented article deals with actual issue of foreign investments and foreign direct investment in the Republic of Macedonia. This work analyzes the current status of such issue based on the available literature and economic statistics. The article is divided in two parts. The first section focuses on general definitions of foreign direct investments and different types of them. The second part refers to the analyze of actual situation in the Republic of Macedonia.
