Abstract:
The economic justification of any technical solution is one of the most important tasks in the ensuring economic security and stability of work system, as well as improving the profitability of nuclear industry enterprises. The high demand for specialists generating ideas capable of innovative and entrepreneurial activity, the adoption of non-standard solutions appeared in these conditions. This requires the formation of economic thinking among future specialists of the nuclear industry. The need for a clear understanding of the essence and content of economic thinking and its formation mechanisms is the goal of this study. System analysis has been implemented in disclosing the essence and content of this phenomenon, since the systemic approach is based on its definition. Moreover, economic thinking is considered in the context of competence, interdisciplinary and axiological approaches, which represent the methodological basis of the implemented research. This broadens our conceptualizations in understanding and comprehending of the essential characteristics of the investigated thinking. Economic thinking is based on the acquired economic knowledge necessary in the process of developing and promoting innovative science-intensive products in the nuclear industry that facilitate the adoption of a valid economic decision and is one of the system-forming attributions of the professional competence of future specialists in the nuclear industry.
