Abstract:
The rural labor market in Ukraine is characterized by limited employment, the spread of all forms of unemployment, and the concentration of a large part of the population in the informal economy. The diversification of the rural economy is one of the strategic priorities for creating new jobs in the countryside, creating an alternative to the dominant agricultural sector and ensuring productive employment for the peasants. Its promising directions are identified, among which, along with the diversification of the agricultural production itself, the accelerated development of the rural non-agricultural sector is equally important. The rural labor market in Ukraine is characterized by limited employment, the spread of all forms of unemployment, and the concentration of a large part of the population in the informal economy.
