Abstract:

A valuable research work is devoted to the issue of the formation of stable deposit resources of commercial banks of the Russian Federation in modern conditions under the influence of various factors. Theoretical aspects of the deposit resources of the bank as the main source of financing credit exposure and investment have been studied. The main factors, which influence the formation of deposit resources of Russian banks at three levels: macro, meso, and micro levels have been determined; the degree of their influence on the dynamics and structure of deposit resources has been assessed. The influence of such major factors as the external debt of Russian banks, the level of GDP, the amount of granted loans, average per capita incomes of the population, the exchange rate of the Russian ruble against the dollar, the price of oil per barrel of Brent and the rate of inflation have been studied. The influence of factors on the dynamics of deposit resources and their structure have been analyzed, which enables us to provide forecasts for changes in deposit resources and preventive measures to mitigate negative consequences with further coordination of deposit and credit policies of the bank. The presented work focuses on the need to maintain a steady flow of deposits into the banking system in order to maintain the required level of stable resources of the banking sector, the degree of dependence of this process on changing environmental conditions, which are particularly active in the periods of macroeconomic crises, has been assessed.
