Abstract:

The article discusses the formation of targeted programs for the economic and social development of the region. The current stage of development of the country's economy is of great interest among scholars and practitioners in studying a wide range of regional problems. The economic and social development of society in modern conditions depends largely on the effective work of the executive authorities and the ability to determine, as well as implement, the key conditions that allow to eliminate the asymmetry of regional economic problems. At the same time, the potential of the system under consideration exceeds many times the potential of all its components (subsystems).
