The article presents the results of studying the features of the development of social competence of elementary school children with intellectual disabilities who study in various conditions, Highlights the General and specific characteristics due to the interaction of psychopathological and environmental factors. The significance of correctional and developmental work in teaching children with intellectual disabilities in the conditions of inclusion, aimed at creating the conditions necessary for successful socialization, is updated.
