Abstract:
There is a need to design a coherent model which presents features of organizational culture giving emphasis on their possibility to promote the innovation. Having a clear view of the determinants of both constructs under research – organizational culture and innovations – it is possible to prevent conflict situations and make innovation implementation smoother and more effective. The key research question can be detailed by more specific research questions: How is organization culture defined? What are organizational culture dimensions and features? What are the types of innovations and how can they be related to organizational culture dimensions? What organizational culture features can promote innovation in an organization? The following key findings can be interesting for academics and practitioners: the identification of organizational culture in the individual dimensions of organizational culture, more detail revealing of the impact of organizational culture on innovation and a better understanding of the links between organizational culture and desired innovation within the organization.
