Abstract:
The article briefly presents the most important paradigm changes in the manufacturing process in terms of industrial revolutions. The starting point was an attempt to explain the concept of paradigm in a short and general way and an attempt to consider it from the point of view of management science. The essence and significance of technology in the company's processes was also presented. A contemporary view of technology requires perceiving it as an environment in which there are resources enabling the design and implementation of solutions to problem situations, and to a greater extent contributes to the development of technical, technological and organizational innovations, which are the basis for revolutionary changes in the industry. The most important point of the article is a concise description of the most important changes in the methods of production for each stage of the industrial revolution, with particular emphasis on the conceptual assumptions that create a new production paradigm in the new industrial reality.
