From Entrepreneurial Intention to Actions Strategic Behavior for Youth

Abstract:

This study focuses on youth who are dropped out and unemployed including those who already have a business but can’t well develop in Paciran District, Lamongan Regency, East Java Province in Indonesia. They need life skill training in order to improve their self-efficacy and self esteem so they will have entrepreneurial intentions to improve their strategic behavior. The survey is using purposive sampling by giving questionnaires to respondents with 75% response rate and using Partial Least Square statistical technique. Beside that, researcher also conduct an interview with some respondents to support the research results. The result shows that entrepreneurial intentions influenced by self efficacy and self esteem. Likewise, enterpreneurial intentions affect strategic behavior.
