Abstract:

The article considers the functioning peculiarities of foreign economic activity of the Russian enterprises of accumulator industry. The relevance of the research is determined by the need to further study the problems of foreign economic activity of the battery industry enterprises and its improvement on the example of specific enterprises operating in this field. The article analyzes the activities of OOO ISTOC+ (a limited liability company under the laws of Russian Federation). This is one of the largest Russian starter batteries manufacturers and the only enterprise of the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation in this industry. In addition, the article assesses the competitiveness of OOO ISTOC+ and offers recommendations for improving its foreign trade activities. Also forecasts of the Russian battery industry market are submitted.
