Gender and Racial Diversity: An Empirical Study of Brazilian Stock Exchange

Abstract:

We are suffering one of the most striking economic crises caused by COVID-19, that´s causing to blacks more affected and they are the biggest victims of illness and death, as well as the unemployed due to the recession and the reduction of the level of business, which has nothing new as it is called, since it has existed since 2003, according to Cheng et al. (2007) from more than 4,000 scientific articles about it, the despite Bil Gates having predicted in 2015, during the Ebola disaster, he said we would not be prepared for the next pandemic. In this article, in addition to presenting the behavior of the 30 companies that are integrated of ISE index of B3(Brazilian Stock Exchange) in relation to compliance with Diversity in the Reports between 2016-2018 and a few of 2019, considering that it obeys the postponement of 2019 publication, according to Brazil (2020), it´ll be presented alternatives to mitigate invisible and potential risks of instability in social peace due to the social inequalities inflicted on: Women, according to UNHR (1979) and Black People, according to UNHR (1965).
