Abstract:

The agriculture industry is growing fast in past years, particularly small fruits. This brings huge challenges to producers to stay competitive, the methods should be more accurate and efficient leveraged by new technologies. We propose to develop an app that can be used by any smartphone to registry what happening in the field, bringing producers and real-time harvesting teams, closer. Since most farms usually haven’t enough network coverage, it is imperative an app that works online and offline. With this goal in mind, we pretend to give all information about what happens in each field of any farm, from producers to huge industries. Preliminary results show that both farmers and producers welcome the app, and will use it on future crops season.
