Abstract:

Hajj has been a dream for every Muslim who is capable of performing it. As such, it is an important journey for a person life time of returning to his source, Allah the Source of everything. However the mega gathering of pilgrims within a short period of time in Mina has often created various unfavorable incidences. Therefore the aim of this paper is to discuss the safety and emergency management issues in Mina during a fixed period of time with the recommendations and suggestions for continuous improvement.
