Abstract:

This paper is concerned by forecasting health indicators. This paper stands on the application of Support Vector Regression (SVR) model on Tunisian health indicators. We select mortality rate indicator as the target vector which we want to forecast and health expenditure, improved sanitation facilities and life expectancy at birth as input vectors. The selection of these indicators as input vectors is due to their dependency relation with mortality rate. Experimental results were very promising.
