Abstract:

Digital therapy in neurological diseases involves covering many aspects of the patient's health using specific smart devices. The use of digital technologies in combination with evidence-based medicine contributes to treatment efficiency and personalized patient intervention. Among the digital devices used in the medical field, especially in the monitoring of brain conditions, the category of smart insoles is presented, namely Novel Loadsol. Devices measuring the plantar normal force, in particular, allow non-invasive monitoring of the patient and can provide valuable information in support of early detection of gait and balance problems in patients with brain disorders.
