Health Tourism: Do Malaysian Websites Meet Users’ Expectation?

Abstract:

To be competitive in Health Tourism, Malaysia Health Tourism websites should provide a range of options for accessing information relating to professional diagnosis, aftercare, support, include the possibility of obtaining a second opinion, allow the patient to access further information, and also to promote purchase of diagnosing and treatment. This paper investigates the quality of five selected Malaysia Health Tourism websites using heuristic evaluation method.  The findings show that generally these websites are satisfactory on the system quality but need improvements on the information quality and service quality aspects.
