Abstract:
The purpose of this article was not to analyze the idea of laying the foundation of new firms; entrepreneurship can happen inside an organization already established. This concept is defined as corporate entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs usually operate in small businesses, but they have several traits which can refresh the old-fashion bureaucratic way of the healthcare industry. Healthcare looks at the macro level as any industry in the marketplace, but in reality, there are factors in this environment which can discourage entrepreneurship or investors to innovate the market. With these two contradictory goals in place, it takes serious creativity to succeed. In most of the cases, bureaucracy and the public health system can hinder patients to look for a solution of treatment or seek the most qualitative medical service without spending too much money out of their pockets.[1]
In order to do proper screening of the current situation of the pandemic, the best tool is a qualitative and quantitative statistical survey, formulated with open questions addressed to both healthcare professionals and citizens or patients. The number of study participants varied depending on the target audience group – for healthcare workers a number of 35 respondents versus 76 respondents on the general audience survey. It was much easier to reach and share the study survey to regular people via multiple channels; instead, healthcare workers were more difficult to reach and attract their eagerness to respond.
The results in this research project are presented below in a statistical and interpretational manner, through charts and SWOT analysis.
The critical point has been reached in the health systems and now more than ever we need new players, especially leaders, to adopt and propose creativity, innovation, thinking and entrepreneurial behaviour as a major catalyst to achieve positive change in our health care system and delivery of healthcare.
