Abstract:

Pakistan and China has recently launched major initiatives around the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), after development of CPEC, the whole region of Asia would enter into new era of prosperity and progress. This paper is investigating the host community attitudes towards the importance of CPEC and to address the issues of CPEC‟s implementation. The study would also help understanding counterplan for the development of Pakistan. The findings of this study revealed that the majority of respondents had optimistic attitude about the project. This study will provide the current intuitions for the researchers, policy makers, business executives and entrepreneurs in the Pakistani contexts
