Abstract:
This research aimed to investigate how does perceived organizational support, psychological empowerment, and participative leadership influence on organizational commitment of teachers in senior high schools. The data were gathered from 243 teachers who work for permanent teachers in senior high schools in West Sumatra Province Indonesia. There were four schools participated in the survey. The respondents filled the questionnaires on voluntarily bases. The data were analyzed by using regression with assisting application of SPSS 16. The findings supported that perceived organizational support has significant impact on organizational commitment of senior high school teachers. The findings also noted that psychological empowerment and participative leadership style significantly influence on teacher’s organizational commitment. Implications and limitations of the research also were discussed in the paper.
