Abstract:
Knowing the mechanisms of financing agriculture and rural development, as well as the advantages and constraints imposed by the Common Agricultural Policy at the level of the Member States, the requirements of the new reform in the field corresponding to the evolution of the market, are priorities to be studied also at the level of the Romanian agriculture. Starting from this idea, in this paper, we wanted to analyse the influence that the financing programs used in agriculture have on the evolution of sustainable rural development, according to the national and community policy strategies. Our approach had as its starting point the SAPARD Program, the first European program implemented, we then continued with the NRDP 2007-2013 and the current 2014-2020 Program, whose analysis resulted in our considerations regarding their influence on the Romanian rural environment.
