Abstract:
The unpredictability and variability of socio-economic processes resulting from the nature of the world makes it necessary to constantly solve problems. Some of them qualify as wicked problems. Although these problems cannot be completely resolved (at least with the current level of science and knowledge), they require proper reactions and managing. This article analyses the essence of wicked problems and the criteria for their qualification. Key areas in the management of wicked problems are indicated, and a research mode for approaching decision making regarding this group of problems is proposed.
