Abstract:
Human resource management (HRM) solutions may have a significant role in supporting (or hindering) controlling processes. The aim of this article is to empirically verify which of the indicated HRM solutions strengthen (or weaken) the efficiency of controlling. The hypotheses were verified empirically on the sample of 637 organizations: 349 from Poland and 288 from Switzerland. The presented results of empirical research allowed for the construction of a moderated model demonstrating the impact of chosen HRM solutions on the relation of controlling use and job performance. It was concluded that controlling is a method sensitive for the influence of HRM solutions: shape of HRM solutions influences the relation between controlling and job performance of employees. Methods of statistical description and estimation were used, esp. regression analysis with moderator.
