Abstract:
Human capital plays a crucial role in competitive struggle which is so typical for this period of time. People become a very important part of a successful business. Total value of enterprise is not formed only by financial capital, but human capital which is a part of intellectual capital, is also significantly influential. The owners of companies and top managers should identify themselves with the idea that the employees and their knowledge, abilities and skills contribute to wealth and prosperity of the enterprise. This theory assumes that employees, more precisely human capital of company, and their learning and development do not feature the expenses but investments for better future. A meaningful method how to increase human capital is a company training. Company training in the Czech Republic is in this paper evaluated by Continuing Vocational Training Survey, patronized by the European Commission and Eurostat.
