Abstract:
The world, in general, and the world of work - in particular, is at the confluence of the old and the new. Several mega tendencies lead to the fourth industrial revolution, which is a real challenge for human resources management. From taking care to balance working time with personal life to creating wellness jobs with happy employees, we see the need to change the hierarchy between the human resources management functions from the control of people in organizations to their motivation and support. This is because employees work in a global, complex world with many challenges, even risks, over a longer period of active life. Mobbing is not a new phenomenon in the workplace, only that in the world of postmodern work, along with other manifestations considered in the category of organizational pathologies, it has taken on a very large scale. Due to this fact, international organizations (International Labor Organization (ILO), European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA)) have included it in the category of psychosocial risks. This paper presents the primary results of a larger research on the phenomenon of mobbing. Using as a research method the questionnaire, observation and discussion were based on the perceptions of the subjects the main causes that lead to the establishment of the mobbing process, how it manifests, but also what their behavior / reaction is to the events that occurred.
