Human Resource Management in the Field of Competence-Based Education

Abstract:

The article is devoted to the study of human resource management in the field of education based on the competence approach. The purpose of the research is to identify modern problems of teaching staff management, as well as to identify the composition of the teacher's competencies that determine the success of his professional activity. The authors present the structure of the human resource management system in the field of education. The specificity of the competence approach in education as an instrument for solving life problems based on the development of various competencies is revealed. The article gives the analysis of approaches to the definition of "competence" and "competency" from the perspective of domestic and foreign researchers. On this basis, the author's definition for the concept «competence"is formulated. The main problems that arise in the process of managing human resources in education are identified, as well as the main requirements to compose the professional competence of a modern teacher. The model of teacher’s professional competence has been developed. It is proposed to use individually differentiated educational routes as a way to improve the professional competence of a teacher.
