Abstract:

The Aim Of The Article Is To Identify The Demand Of Entrepreneurs From Lower Silesia For The Creation Of A Business Incubator Specialising In AI And Iot. The Research Was Conducted Using Document Analysis, Desk Research And A Survey Of 163 Students Planning To Start A Business.

The Results Indicate A High Level Of Interest In Modern Technologies And The Need For Access To Infrastructural, Advisory And Training Support. The Greatest Potential Of The Incubator Was Recognised In The Areas Of ‘Life-Supporting Technologies’ And ‘Industry 4.0’.

The Article Confirms The Legitimacy Of Establishing Such An Institution In The Region, While Pointing Out The Need For Cooperation Between The Public Sector And Universities In Order To Achieve This Goal.
