Abstract:
With the population growing exponentially compared to other big countries, India is likely to surpass China’s population in the coming future. In India, there are a high percentage of people below BPL who cannot meet their daily basic minimum needs. There is a big gap between the wealth distribution of rich and poor in India, which sparks a need for philanthropy and investments for the betterment of their lives.
Even today, there are many villages in India yet to be electrified. Imagine a day when a student in a small village studies under light bulb which is powered by a solar panel….. This can be done when there is some equity and working capital invested in a company which is into this business.
