Abstract:
An analytical assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the food security of the regions of Ukraine identified that COVID-19 pandemic revealed vulnerability in global food chains and food systems. Studies show that the quarantine measures and restrictions on the movement of people and goods have become a real problem for many border regions of Ukraine in order to ensure food security, especially for the most vulnerable. This threatens the achievement of sustainable development goals, including the eradication of hunger by 2030.
