Abstract:

The main purpose of this study is to try to assess the impact of digital transformation on the level of economic security in the enterprise. To achieve it, a research problem was formulated, which is to find answers to the questions that have been bothering researchers: is there a relationship between digital transformation and the level of economic security of the enterprise? Does RPA contribute to the improvement of the digital transformation process in the enterprise and thus contribute to its development and improvement of its competitive position, which consequently affects its economic security? For the purpose of achieving the stated research objectives, a qualitative approach was adopted, based on the case study method. For the purpose of conducting the study, an interview questionnaire was developed and used to conduct semi structured interviews with experts employed at the studied entity. The interviews were conducted as a source of data in order to obtain opinions based on the experts' possessed experience in the field of digital transformation (including Robotic Process Automation), efforts and used business practices and lessons learned from the digital transformation process and its impact on the level of economic security.
