Impact of Personality Traits on Job Involvement: The Moderating Effect of Collectivistic

Abstract:

It is now well recognized that personality traits are strongly related to job-related attitudes and behaviors, there is still lack of studies that have explored the relationship between personality traits and job involvement. We proposed such a model based on the proposition that collectivistic as the moderator of the relationship between personality traits (extraversion and agreeableness) and job involvement. According to this proposed model, the higher collectivistic, more likely positive effects extraversion and agreeableness on job involvement.
