The Impact of Social Enterprises in the Terms of Social Innovations

Abstract:

The main focus of this paper is on analyzed how the strengths and weaknesses of social enterprises should affect the meaning and behavior of different communities and individuals in the society through bringing the social innovations to their daily life. Actually, trend of social innovations is most depending on the changes in the variety of services, flexibility of supplying services and quality of services. All this aspects of social innovations are the main goals of establishing the full-fledged society. On the other hand the concept of social entrepreneurship was created as a response on the request of society for establishing the bridge between nonprofit services and profit enterprises. In many situations, collaboration across and within sectors should result in solutions that are unattainable by each entity working alone. Concept of social enterprises has a relevant influence to the non-profit sector on the basis of establishing the self-financing concept of served organizations and providers of social services. Also the entrepreneurial identity is for non-profit organization step up in the strategic, financial and risk management aspects. Giving the significant lack of research on social enterprises in Visegrad countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland), on the basis of case from Slovakia are detected a strengths and weaknesses of understanding and misunderstanding of concept of establishing social enterprises. Historically, entrepreneurial environment and non-profit sector in Slovakia was established like two unrelated and un-supplemented sectors in one diverse society.
