Abstract:
The paper addresses problems related to the implementation and performance evaluation of cryptography mechanisms in resource-constrained systems, especially in the Internet of Things (IoT) systems. Requirements of the IoT systems in terms of encryption algorithms are discussed.
In the paper, the issues related to the implementation of the Xoodyak algorithm on medium and low-performance devices are presented. The paper’s main aim is to evaluate the performance of the Xoodyak algorithm in various IoT environments.
