Implementation of an Integrated Management System in a Production Company

Abstract:

Integrated Management Systems (IMS) facilitate the achievement of objectives by organisations.  However, their effectiveness depends on many variables: their degree of use, type of activity, expertise of employees, etc. They can become a basis for innovation, reducing costs, increasing production, improving quality and relations with stakeholders. On the other hand, errors at the stage of selecting a specific solution and its implementation may make them look like unjustified expenditure. The aim of this work is to present the process of selection and implementation of an IMS on the example of a manufacturing company. The authors used case study method. The article presents a pre-implementation analysis, the process of selection and implementation of an IMS.
