Abstract:

The case study deals with the implementation of the ERP system and the assessment of its benefits in Imtradex, joint–stock company, a leading Czech supplier of storage systems. Imtradex took advantage of the period of economic crisis and a drop in job orders to carry out an implementation project, which noticeably helped the Company to increase labour productivity as well as other important performance indicators. In this manner the Company has made effective use of its spare capacity, and with the support of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme provided by the E.U. and CzechInvest, it significantly strengthened its competitiveness by implementing and operating a modern  ERP system.
