Abstract:
The paper deals with a time and probabilistic analysis of PERT network graphs. The paper describes the implementation of the traditional PERT algorithm for finding the probabilistic analysis, the node and activity criticality by use of software MS Excel. The paper shows how relative comfortably to work with the PERT method. Benefit of this approach evaluate especially end-users. Case study describes a project which includes 14 subactivities. The completion time of each activity is not know certainly (only estimates are available). Model of the project consists of a network graph, which comprises 18 activities (4 fictitious activities) and 14 nodes. These data serve as inputs for spreadsheet in MS Excel. The program can be used to solve various large projects.
