Abstract:

Circular economy is an industrial model that aims to improve resources’ performance, and offers a new chance to innovate and integrate natural ecosystems, businesses, and waste management, bringing a huge potential for value creation within the economical, business, environmental and societal spheres. Based on the principle of circularity, the supply chain can work with greater resilience and a more flexible approach to give organisations a better frame of response towards future disruptions and disasters. This study aims to explore circular economy model, based on green supply chain management practices implemented by FMCG sector, to reduce the negative impacts on the supply chain during COVID-19 pandemic. For this purpose, a systematic literature review was used, and fifteen research articles were selected, and have been analysed in terms of their contribution for a greener economy.
