Abstract:

This paper discusses the use of the Industrial Engineering methods in the non-manufacturing processes. The presented paper deals with a comparison of the use of the Industrial Engineering methods in the non-manufacturing and manufacturing processes. Furthermore, the paper describes the possibilities of the Industrial Engineering usage in the non-manufacturing processes and examples of the methods that have already been deployed in these processes. The aim of the paper is to show how the non-manufacturing processes currently lag behind the manufacturing processes. This deficiency has a major impact on enterprises, namely on their costs and effectiveness.
