Abstract:

The paper discusses the stages of development of technological stages followed by a jump in productivity and economic growth. A comprehensive assessment of Industry 4.0 is provided, an analysis of the components on which Industry 4.0 is based is carried out; their significance from the perspective of introduction into industrial production is analyzed. Based on statistical data, an assessment of the main players in Industry 4.0, the most advanced in the field of digitalization of industrial production, is made. A study of industries in the field of industrial production is conducted and sectors that are more subject to the introduction of modern digital technologies are identified. On the basis of the analysis, prospects for changes in the volumes and costs of industrial production are considered under the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies. A comparative analysis is carried out according to these indicators with the technological patterns that preceded modern development.
