Influence of New Technologies on Customer Relationship Management

Abstract:

The past few years have shown that the development of business processes is becoming increasingly digital. This generates a high dependency on the design of the data, the quality of the data and the origin of the data. (Dhawn et al. 2018) The available technologies are becoming better and better and, above all, faster, although the basic character of the applications is no longer changing seriously. The basis is still the transport, creation, processing and, increasingly in cloud-based systems, the storage of data. An entire industry has developed around the process of analysing and processing data, which, through the development and application of analytical tools, recognises the wishes of the customers and also offers possibilities of application that the customers had not even thought of. The new generation of data analysis has emerged, which is also reflected in the phrase "market intelligence". (Manyika et al. 2017)
