Influences of the Work scenarios, worker’s self-image on the Labor Engagement of Workers of Networks Arising from Public private Alliances

Abstract:

The aim of this paper was to examine the influences of the Work scenarios, worker's self image on the labor engagement of workers of networks from public-private alliances (APP Networks) in Chile. A sample of 214 workers from different regions of Chile (37.9% male, 62.1% female) were given an assessment battery that included multiple measures of work scenarios, worker's self-image and engagement. Multiple regression analyses and Structural equation modeling (SEM) were undertaken. Results suggest that worker's selfimage had a positive indirect effect on Work Engagement (indirect effect =0.124 Bootstrap 95% CI=.041 a .318). Worker's self image mediates the relationship work scenarios and engagement.
